Casey Killian ran five times for 124 yards and two TDs, and the Walton defense posted its sixth straight shutout, helping coach Jim Hoover earn his 250th career victory in the victory over visiting Harpursville in a Division VI game. Seven other players had a touchdown each for Walton (8-0), which jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter and a 44-0 lead at halftime. The Warriors defense held Harpursville to one first down and minus-39 total yards. Asked afterward about the milestone, Hoover said: "It's a lot of good assistant coaches, and a lot of good players, and a lot of years."
